Behind the Lens

Kassidy has always had a passion for telling stories. As a child, she would watch the same movie repeatedly for weeks, analyzing what she saw on screen and deep-diving into the story. She was entranced by movie magic, but she was more enchanted by the beauty of what a film can teach. Entering college, Kassidy knew that she had not only a goal but a duty to serve others the way her favorite movies inspired her. She knew she wanted to encourage people to reflect upon new concepts and perspectives, and she knew she wanted to tell the stories of the voices in this world that are struggling to be heard.

Kassidy creates narratives that explore historical and current events, using film as a tool for social change to highlight urgent global issues and amplify marginalized voices. Her recent work champions LGBTQ+ directors, bringing their unique perspectives to broader audiences and ensuring greater visibility and authenticity in their stories.

Kassidy is dedicated to expanding her impact as a cinematographer and writer, focusing on telling powerful stories about women and creating films that explore environmental protection, sustainability, and conservation. Whether through documentary filmmaking or fictional narratives, she aims to create content that resonates deeply with viewers, encouraging them to engage with pressing global issues. Kassidy is committed to crafting impactful stories that empower others to share their voices, foster integrity and awareness, and expose the truth— inspiring action through art and education.
